Zinc Stearate is an industrial grade compound which is widely used in the plastic and rubber industries, where it can be used as a lubricant and release or powdering agent. This chemical compound is hydrophobic in nature which make it insoluble in polar solvents like alcohol but highly soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons when the temperature is increased. Its chemical formula is C36H70O4Zn and having a melting point in between 120 to 130 degree Celsius with an auto ignition temperature of 420 degree Celsius.
